2 lbs of white chocolate morsels ( I actually prefer regular chocolate)
5 candy canes
1 Tablespoon peppermint extract
Bust your candy canes in a ziplock bag using a rolling pin. Sometimes I put a towel over my bag so the little pieces don't cut the plastic of the ziplock while in the rolling process. You can add more candy canes if you like. Melt your chocolate in a double boiler or in 30 second increments in the microwave. Add peppermint flavoring/extract. Stir. Pour mixture on a cookie sheet layered with wax paper. Refrigerate for 30 minutes. Wait until you're sure it's firm. Remove from cookie sheet and break into whatever size you like! Makes a lot....very easy! Enjoy! A cute way to "gift" these treats--get galvanized buckets or chinese take out boxes with a holiday design.
