Happy Halloween from Zane!

Mommy got a little carried away while putting away laundry on Sunday night.  So, I may have gone a little psycho extreme and put Zane in a bunch of my clothes.

First up, we have THINK PINK, Breast Cancer Awareness Zane, Mr. Pink Riding Hood

Gangsta Zane --Zane rocks a chain
Zane's Secret  (Victoria ain't got no secret)
Jay Zane --Zane rocks a Yankee throwback
Where's Waldo Zane, Camouflage Z
Zane- Hide Yo' Wife, Hide Yo' Kids

Frog Zane...for some reason he enjoyed tossing my wig and then frogging with his face buried in it.  Oh well.

He was such a champ, I swear he was saying more, more, more, Mom! I love my boy.

Everybody Get your Troll on...

Yes my friends, I stole that from a rap song... For my faculty  friends Halloween party we dressed up as Treasure Trolls.

You know, those little crazy-haired, jeweled belly trolls that were SO popular back in the day? I remember clearly standing in front of the Troll aisle in 4th grade and I couldn't decide which outfit I wanted for my troll.  Also, I was picky on the shape of the jewel. (imagine that)
So here we are, modified human trolls.
Hawaiian Troll, Pajama Troll, Ballerina Troll

We rubbed our jeweled bellies and made tons of faces.  When I said we had to modify our outfits it was due to the weatehr-36* outside.  We had tan body suites but it was waaaay too cold.  So we had to improvise a bit and put some clothes on.
BB even bought a fake belly online to give her troll a gut!
Trolls and a flapper

Scary Gal
I managed to miss half the people in the pictures. Sorry friends!
The entertainment
The night was freezing but the friends were fun!
I danced like Ronnie from Jersey Shore and amazingly enough, the Hawaiian troll could fist pump.  I may have even bumped jewels with BB as Poonjab (Angie's hubby was an Indian not pictured) videoed the whole thing. ha!

What I'm Lovin' Wednesday-bathroom edition

So, my friends make fun of me because I put Bath and Body lotion on my face. I am just not good with products...for my face. This is something I have done since I was in high school. But, never fear...I'm about to be 30 so I am taking charge of my skin. These are a few products I love, love, love, love and have used for awhile.
This soap will make you enjoy washing all 2000 of your body parts. I love the oatmeal and ginger. The bar is huge, organic, lasts forever and is not tested on animals. I am not much of a tree hugger, but I love this soap.
I also love the Trader Joe NOURISH shampoo and conditioner.  It too is organic, no chemicals, not tested on animals, lasts forever, and it makes my hair soft.  The conditioner is wonderful too.  I've used these for almost a year.
Lastly, I use Too Faced bronzer from Sephora.  It's not organic, but I like it.  Again, I am not a product person but once i find something I like I'm sold!  Right now you can Google Sephora "friends and family" and get 20% off your online order immediately with a free access code.  I just stocked up on a few products.

Oh, and Vera Wang changed my opinion on all perfumes.  Normally, they give me a raging migraine. But not Vera Wang- Lovestruck.  It's fabulous! I may or may not have gone to get free samples from Macy's and Sephora and made my sister do the same while she was in town.  You can never have too many free samples of it! Love it.

Fa la la la la...

la la...la...la.... I love the holiday time! It's truly is the most wonderful time of year! This year is no exception. My photo will change, but the fabulous FREE blogger Shutterfly offer will not!
Here are some of of the card options in my final 4...

**This is my favorite!**

Why Shutterfly? Why not!? They have a ton of card choices from Christmas to the holidays, birth announcements and cards to ring in the New Year! The hardest part is narrowing down your final selection!
Too many choices? Can't decide on just one picture? Why not make a photo book to capture the memories. Photo books also make a great gift idea!
Shutterfly is definitely my one stop, holiday shop! Head on over yourself to check out the latest deals!

Please, No Pictures!!

It's no lie, I love the Amish.  When I was little I asked my dad to send me to Amish camp.  Yep, at the ripe ole age of almost 30 I'm still fascinated by their homes and lifestyles. A few years ago when I went with my VM's, Mary took a picture of a little boy.  He then yelled " Please, no  pictures" because they are forbidden to be on camera and that is the same reason their dolls do not have faces.  So, out of respect, I didn't take any pictures of the children.  I just stalked their homes...

 and their laundry...
watched the mom get the mail
 bought peanut brittle

Got some wonderful pumpkins and gourds for .50 and $1.00--totally worth it for the unique ones!

Even B's "baby doll" gave the Amish two thumbs up! We enjoyed our day with the girls!

Sunday morning

Two cups of coffee, two loads of laundry and an hour on Pinterest all before 8:30am makes me a happy girl! I love a cool, crisp, quiet morning to myself.   Maybe it was my massage last night, but I slept super hard and woke up early on my own.  Speaking of massages... she hit a spot on my arm (yes my arm) that I never knew existed and it literally was the worst pain ever!  Oddly enough, 2 years ago when I was upstate NY my Aunt who is a Reiki Master/Doctor found that spot too.  What in the world? Should I be worried...literally, it is on the front of my arm and I've never noticed it in my daily life.  Oh well...today :
